I keep telling people I want to move towards a more cartoony look but what I actually draw is more detailed and, I suppose, more realistic in terms of proportions. So I guess this will be the style Feral will be drawn in. It's not quite where I wanted to take the approach, but looking back, I've got to admit it's come a long way since my first attempts at subtly revamping the style, such as [link] . Those big eyes were so not working.

This is how I draw now, in August of 2006. People on DA at least seem to like it, and it works for me too.

Hmm. NEcklace should push her hair aside a bit more, I think. Would be uncomfortable to have hair trapped under it.

Hmm. Not quite sure about the necklace, and the breasts look rather unsupported and perhaps small - could a woman one year or so out of breastfeeding manage without a little support?

I have no idea what they used for support at the time, but I'm thinking they didn't go in for much of that. Rather, garments must have had a flattening effect, what with apron dresses often resting above the tops of the breasts. OTOH, I don't know how much those things weighed. I should ask some of the viking women of *Shadow-of-Yggdrasil who have worn dresses like that (and hope they don't fish-slap me when I ask them if they wear bras underneath :)
