Hi uhh.. you guys..... I just wanted to say that things got lost in translation and I really really apologize to anyone who got offended with anything. Trying really hard to figure out how to be a good cs creator. I've only gotten to cs months ago so I am not well-versed in anything at all OTL. No mod experience, no CS experience, no discord experience. No nothing other than my star butt ideas. I'm sure you're all used to people who are more suited for this job LOL. Rest assured we have some great mods now and coming soon! Please if there's anything I can do better, I would love if you guys could help. I know I'm not always here to answer every single one of your questions, but I hope that there are people from our community who can help answer you! We expected about 100 ish people at most, but we are suddenly a huge community seemingly overnight!!! Excited but anxious about the next few days, weeks, and months as I really really really hope that I do things alright. Any help is always appreciated and if anyone wants to talk, my discord is always open reinore#6202. Thank you for continuing to support me despite how large this all blew up! I wish you guys luck in creating your MYO's and look forward to meeting you all personally~

Yeah.. the community really grew a lot
The best we can do I think is to continue to give you our continued support... I have no experience either but I can empathize? I’m sure running such a big group (especially with school and life and everything) is tough, but I know you can do it! I wish you luck...

If I may, I have a few bits of advice:

1: Own your mis-steps. When you're running a CS, or indeed running ANY community-oriented venture regardless of its size or focus, you need to be patient and diplomatic. Your choice of wording, and the way that it makes your constituents/customers/followers feel, is extremely important. Chalking everything up to 'bad feelings generated through mutual misunderstanding' isn't a very solid first step towards regaining the confidence of a userbase that was wounded by those very words, and I think that turning to your people and saying 'I said some insensitive things, and I'm very sorry' will send a MUCH stronger message than branding it as 'miscommunication.' If you made a mistake, if you said something callous? Don't pass the blame onto an unnamed user who gave you advice or one of the other moderators, because ultimately it was up to you to make the executive decision and issue what was ultimately a hurtful and regressive statement. Own that.

2: I cannot stress enough - be patient. When your userbase reaches out to you with questions, with concerns, or with helpful advice, you owe it to them to listen, and to give thoughtful and diplomatic responses. You've demonstrated a quickness to frustration over the past few days, and I cannot urge you enough - take a moment, even if that means leaving the question hanging a little bit longer, and make sure to come back to your userbase with a reply that demonstrates your willingness to listen, and to offer a thoughtful response.

3: Conversations with your fellow moderators should be held in private. The userbase are your customers, and what you're crafting for them should be an engaging and pleasant atmosphere that encourages creativity and open conversation. Cracking down on rules that you haven't finished creating, snapping at questions or concerns raised by your userbase, and arguing with fellow moderators - none of that contributes to a warm, happy or healthy community environment. Discuss all moderator matters in private, take your time in hammering out better-worded rules and where they need to be enforced, and present a unified and approachable front to your userbase in your public interaction with them.

These are all incredibly wonderful suggestions and will put them into mind. I appreciate the feedback and will make sure to do better next time. All your messages are very much well-received and will help me and my moderators function better! We’re doing a good rehaul once things die down a little bit on the hype in order to better communicate what we mean by certain things. Appreciate the feedback and thank you again!!

Congrats on the success of your species! It's always exciting to watch these things take off so spectacularly, tho I'm sure it's probably a bit stressful on your end.

No worries, you are doing your best. Its a learning process after all, I don't think anyone will expect you to be perfect right off the bat or even later on. You got this. #1

Its totally understandably with how many people joined the community (myself included)! We all have to start somewhere when in comes to MOD or CS work and hopefully everyone will understand that when issues come up.
