A probable solution to commission chargebacks.
Artists who create commissions know one caveat with accepting PayPal: their Seller Protection doesn't cover services, so they can and will be SOL if the buyer decides to dispute the transaction. While Buyer Protection doesn't cover services either, PayPal is notorious for ruling in the favor of the buyer, so the seller needs to look into other ways of protecting themselves. Which leads to our discussion here, of how we can leverage Seller Protection to ensure scamming buyers can't run off with the money after the service is completed -- by converting your commission service into a tangible product. Annie Market [22 up]
Sometimes owners don't connect with their Annies, something in their life occupies them, or just switch their Annie for another one and still make sure they get an owner who does have time and love for their precious Annie! This is the place for that! A market for Trades, Resells or Giveaways! All Annies still fall under the T.O.S Make sure to read this through properly before you decide you want to own an Annie. Important: You cannot resell for more than you bought. Extra art does not add onto the price. All trades, resells or gifting should happen within the COMMENTS and not in private! Using HTML on deviantART
Hello! Hello and welcome to my little html tutorial. I've been working with html codes for a couple of years and I'm going to teach you what I know about using some basic html on deviantART. This won't make you a html expert or something and I'm not an expert myself but it will give just enough knowledge to make your journals, comments, news articles and other neat and lovely looking. :) deviantART actually has FAQs about html but I still wanted to do this because they look a bit unorganized, in my opinion. Also, why would you want to look for those FAQs when you can just open this news article where you have everything in one place? :dummy

:pointr:How long have you been on DeviantArt?

Since 3rd March 2001, 14 years and then some.

:pointr:What does your username mean?

Let's say it's connected to angelology. That's enough for you to know. ;)

:pointr:Describe yourself in three words.

Eccentric Wandering Photographer.

:pointr:Are you left or right handed?

South–paw! That is: left handed.

:pointr:What was your first deviation?

Here: Travellers-Spheroids by rehael — made in POV-Ray and Gimp. Oooold times…

:pointr:What is your favourite type of art to create?

Photography, obviously.

:pointr:If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Traditional drawing and paiting. The old masters knew how to captivate attention.

:pointr:What was your first favourite?

The Perfumed Garden by burning-giraffe

:pointr:What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

I think it's photography, and a close second place is for digital deviations.

:pointr:Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Frankly, I have no idea. I think I don't have one all–time favourite artist. It'd be… limiting?

:pointr:If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Everyone from my devWATCH of course! :D

:pointr:How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

The whole community is impacting me, by constantly inspiring me, tutoring, evoking emotions…

:pointr:What are your preferred tools to create art?

Any photosensitive element with a nice optically perfect piece of glass in front of it.

:pointr:What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Place doesn't matter — it's who I'm with what matters. And she is all that matters for me.

:pointr:What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Seriously, I can't limit it to one memory! But ok, you want one memory? Here is it: joining DeviantART, long time ago, when it was all about skinning applications, the community was small, but growing quickly.

Ok, one more memory — you're in my mind every time I create something, because a big part of what I do, and how I do it came from this community, from othr deviants, from comments, from looking at other deviations… Stay devious, friends!
