Zombie hamster (crochet)

This little guy was modeled after the pattern accompanying his distant relative the 'Hulk hamster'
To be noted, I DID try to follow the pattern, I just...kinda failed.

With the over dimensional eyes and the pale greenish color, he looks much more like a Zombie rather than Hulk...before he got turned, he probably was a member of the Chip'n'Dales (note the very short pants and the tie :P)

Anyway, I'm still proud that I got him done, despite him having turned out quite a bit differently than originally intended ;)

On a side note (I just forgot to put it on the photo), R.I.P. needle which was used to put him together. I mean, I know that I crochet tight, but that it's so tight that a needle breaks...that's new :D

I really like the indent in the ears, did you only sew one side of Sts? also i love his little Bowtie. Its a very good relative to my little hammy, I'm proud to say their related.

To be honest, I didn't expect any more responses or even favorites on the Zombie hamster. Thank you very much for proving me wrong :D

With the ears? I think the indent happened, because I got smaller with my circles and the rest is finger work (bringing it into shape). The Bowtie was a fun little idea of my wife. Now I can barely even imagine him without it :D

Thank you very much for the praise, it's always nice to see how something that has gone 'wrong' can still become something nice, even if it's not the same nice as intended :)

Actually, the little guy even made it into one of my stories, though the context he's been used in is rather sad.
Just in case you're interested (not everyone is into literature after all), the story featuring the little guy can be found here.
