I've been tagged by :iconoldclassicgamer:, which honestly this one feels like it'd be fun since it is more personalized in questions you choose to ask after you answer the questions your friend may have tagged you with. :)

So lets begin, shall we?

1) You must post these rules.
2) Each person has to share 10 facts about themselves.
3) Answer the 10 questions asked by the person who tagged you and make up 10 questions for the 10 you tag.
4) Choose 10 people and put their icons in your journal.
5) Go to their page and inform them that they have been tagged by you.
6) Not something like, "You are tagged if you read that".
7) You have to legitimately tag 10 people.
8) No tag-backs.
9) You can't say that you don't do tags.
10) You MUST make a journal entry! No comments.

10 Random facts about me

1.) I'm the creator of my character Reese, I've become partial to the color blue which is why I chose that color for his fur.
2.) Part of the inspiration of the color choice was my dad's race car, which is a really pretty blue.
3.) I love my classic game consoles and retro computer systems, I work on them when I get the chance.
4.) My first game console was the original Nintendo Entertainment System.
5.) I've become quite partial to the classic Gateway2000 computer series, especially the models with the EISA motherboards and SCSI controllers.
6.) I'm quite fond of electronics in general, I always have been since I can remember.
7.) My favorite speaker brand is Cerwin-Vega, however I do really like using Dayton for their subwoofers.
8.) I subscribe to YouTube channels about classic retro games, such as LazyGameReviews.
9.) My favorite game controllers probably would be the GameCube, PS2, DreamCast, and 360.
10.) I would like to draw pretty good some day. :)

OldClassicGamer's Questions:

1) What was the first video game you ever played?
I'm going to say either Super Mario Bros. or Wrecking Crew on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. I recall playing the latter a lot more than I do the former.

2) Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft? Which one is the best?
I don't really know to be quite honest. May as well ask me if Atari is better than Sega. I may like them all, but the only things I've disliked were some bad choices the companies make. Example, when Microsoft was going to make the Xbox One online only and when they were going to make where you can't buy used games. Or even when Sony had taken away the ability to run linux on their PS3 console. Just things like that, otherwise I can't really make a comparison. Also I don't believe Nintendo to be in any competition with Sony and Microsoft, since they do things a bit more of their own way. Also having a lot of awesome titles of their own.

3) How do you greet people? Handshaking or Bowing?
Usually with handshaking.

4) How many Nicknames do you have?
I'm not really sure, I never really counted. Unless you mean for online accounts.

5) In how many forums are you active member?
Probably about three, though it can vary. I pretty well am the most active on one community site at least.

6) Do you know how to write your name on Japanese?
Note: please do NOT trust this picture…
True way of writing names on Japanese is constructing it with Katakana if you are not Japanese or you have Kanji for your name that your parents chosed if you are Japanese.

No, I don't know how.

7) Favourite book?
I'm not much of a book reader, though I do like the Legend of Zelda Manga books.

8) How many hours you spend on computer and consoles a day?
Who knows? I'm always on the computer. lol

9) Do you have a job? If not, what do you plan to get as a job in future?
Yes, I do have a job. I usually take care of Payroll and Accounts Payable.

10) Do you think Anime is technically cartoon or its own thing? Many people have different opinion on this so I would like to hear yours.
Hmm, hard to say. As a kid I thought they all were "cartoons", but I think it separates the difference in style. Since cartoons can be excessively cartoony. Look at the original Teen Titans versus the new Teen Titans for example. (I don't know if it ever was considered anime, but the styling sure varies.)

My Questions:

1.) Do you like to roleplay with friends or family?
2.) Which character of yours would you consider to be your best originally made character, if you have your own character?
3.) What are your top five favorite video game titles?
4.) Do you enjoy hanging out with your siblings, if you have any?
5.) What game or show has had you so addicted, you couldn't stop playing or watching it?
6.) What's your favorite flavor of cake?
7.) Do you like buying collectors edition in games?
8.) Do you often play games where friends or family may join in or watch?
9.) What's your favorite color?
10.) What would you like to learn to be able to do for a hobby or potential job?

Merry Christmas!

Wed Dec 25, 2013, 11:58 AM

Merry Christmas, everyone! It's that time of year again, time feels like it flies fast anymore these days. So I certainly hope you all got to enjoy it! Especially with candy and cool gifts!

I even got some great awesome things!

* Lots and lots of candy, I don't think my dentist would approve, in my office stocking and stocking here at home. :XD:
* A car cover, which I needed for a classic car I have! Awesome to have, to help keep it cleaner!
* A little pocket knife, I never had one, and this will be handy to have!
* A dollar lottery ticket that was handed out at a friend's get-together, I won $20 from this!
* Canon ef100mm Macro Lens, I've been wanting one of these, and I was surprised with one for Christmas!
* Crest Audio CC4000 Professional Amplifier, which is going into my home theater system. ^^
* Home Improvement, Seasons 1 through 5 on DVD! I love this show, it's really awesome! ^^
* A DeWALT 20 volt drill, which is pretty sweet. Handy to always have, believe me!
* A nice sketch from Ryuu-Atrineas of one of my characters giving his a milkshake. It isn't online, though.
* A coloring of a line art, done by a great friend, Lady-Zelda-of-Hyrule. She's certainly awesome at her work, and I am still excited of this!

Thank You to both my friends and family for the great gifts! I love every bit of it! I also hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! ^^

Happy (Belated) New Year!

Thu Jan 10, 2013, 11:06 AM
_____________ :typerhappy: :iconjnjn101::iconjnjn202: :typerhappy: _____________

I'm a little over a week late in wishing everyone a Happy New year, but better late than never, right? :XD:

Christmas was great, as I got to get my parents and brother and his wife something nice, I didn't expect much for myself. Though I did have fun shopping for them. Though I did get a few nice things I'm going to enjoy! Other than the candy, I got a 11.7"x16.5" flat bed scanner, since I plan to try to get into sketching and may want to scan anything that's larger than my previous scanner. I also got a couple of "How to draw" art books, along with Scooby Doo Season 1 and 2 on DVD. Mario Plush Pillow, and a RAZER BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Keyboard. I love the way it feels on typing, and plus the keyboard lights up blue! :D

If anyone would like to say what they got, feel free to!

I've been kind of slacking in art work, I know. Most of it is because I have interest in so many hobbies and I just don't have the proper work space for it, yet. Which will soon change.

Some good news is, I will be working on inking and coloring some images a great friend of mine: :iconryuu-atrineas:, which would help with practice as well. I'm in need of every bit I can get. :XD:

Anyway, I hope to get a proper work space setup soon (just going to need mainly the deskspace. ^^; ), and focus better on my goals. :)

Small Update and Features!

Sat Dec 8, 2012, 9:20 PM
I'm still hanging around, and slowly progressing in art work, but more of collecting material and books relating to it than anything right now. Anyway... features!

Taken from a friend of mine, :iconurvy1a:

The first 20 people comment this journal, I will put their avatar
and the three deviations I like most from their gallery on the list!

If you comment, you have to do the same in your journal, putting me in the first spot.

***The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone!***

Got a new camera

Mon Jun 4, 2012, 11:17 AM
After using mom's camera for a while, I finally decided to get my own camera. With this, I can help take pictures of trips we make, or drag race tracks we go to, of the cars going down the track. Car shows, even. Plus I like taking photos of animals, and my first upload in a while, is of our cat Fifi. She's just so cute! =3

I'll definitely be uploading more cat pictures, for sure! Perhaps with the right lens, I could take some good pictures of wildlife, I have plans to get some nice pictures of the peacocks that's in our neighborhood. :)

I've been slow about making any progress for drawing/sketching, sadly. However I finally found some good books I will use to help me practice. Andrew Loomis has some very nice books that really seem to explain everything you need to get started. So hopefully I can gain some time to get to work, keep from having my weekends being tied up by everything else.

This is pretty well it for now.

Nothing too much lately

Mon Feb 6, 2012, 3:40 PM
I've not been doing too much lately, as I've just been having my attention towards video games rather than artwork such as Photoshop, hand drawn, etc. Lol

However, I have been playing Rayman Origins and have been loving it, but it makes me want to replay Rayman 3.

So not much of a journal at this time. ^^;

Finally, a new laptop battery!

Wed Aug 4, 2010, 7:20 AM
For the longest time, I was using my laptop with a bad battery. Started to not last but 10 minutes, it finally started to go out in 10 seconds of use. :(

I've been putting this off, mainly because I was planning to get a new laptop but that won't happen anytime soon, so I'll stick with this longer. Battery cost didn't help me too much, $135 for the 6 cell and $155 for the 9 cell.

Got the battery in today by Fedex, so I cleaned the laptop's cooling from dust with one of those compressed air cans and put the battery in to charge it up.

I'm going to have to give a total discharge and charge it again to allow the internal meter calibrate itself. Lot of maintenance to go through on a battery it seems.

Walmart disappoints!

Mon Aug 2, 2010, 3:39 PM
Me and mom went shopping for groceries today at Walmart... and since I watched the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie I've been craving Cheese Balls. Lol

Well, Walmart didn't have any. :(

Really they seem to be going down hill... a few things we liked getting they stopped selling in multiple stores around here.

Oh well, at least they had Chocolate covered Honey Buns and Lucky Charms Cereal  . :D
