It's been some time since I last added in a new prehistoric dinosaur themed anthro, and I felt it was time for my girl here. I tried for more of a warm and soft color palette for her, and yes, I ended up giving her pink hair. I find myself giving a variety of characters pink hair now.

Character wise, I am going for a princessy look, with the soft pink and the flowers (flowering plants did exist during the lower Cretacious apparently! But with her species, it may be a little bit of an anchronism). So in other words, she's a cave princess dinosaur anthro (lol). And I wanted her to stroll down a beach, kinda like another prehistoric anthro I did a while back.

Giraffatitan is one of the largest dinosaurs known to science, and it has a pretty cool look to it: it has spikes coming down it's neck to it's back. More and more sauropods have been found to have spikes that run down in a ridge on it's back, which kinda takes out the old depictions of smooth backed sauropods. I decided to give her the spikes coming down her head to her tail. Giraffatitan, like other brachiosaurs had short tails, so I gave her one. I picked the dinosaur, because it was sort of unusual, I wanted to do an uncommon dinosaur, at least one that hasn't been drawn to death around here, and plus there aren't a lot of dinosaur anthros, so I felt like doing a few more now.

It took me a while with this one, since I changed in background sometime during the process, to make it more detailed.

I probably would've given her a longer neck, but that's me. Sauropod anthro is always great, and this is a good one!

You did such a wonderful coloring job on this. There are so many things I enjoy about this work, from the sky and sea, to the flowers on the anthro as well as her expression and pose. The details you did on all those rocks is especially fantastic! Another fave from me :D
