I've been clicking back and forth between this one and 04 for the past few minutes. I'd love to be able to see them side by side. Some people might think it a little redundant as a diptych, but I think you've got two distinct moments here, which is why I like the pair so much.

I'm having trouble being coherent tonight.

Nice capture. And love the grain.

yup, the usual hp5 400 grain (although i have to admit that i'm slowly tiring of it...always been shooting 400 - for a change, i may dust off my tripod and go through a phase of shooting 50 for some smoother results)

by the way pan F gives good results you may know. Personnally I shoot almost only 400 ISO for reportage and all conditions of light and depending on what you want you can develop it smoother. In fact I thought that you pushed one stop on this shot. Then I heard that Delta Ilford had a diferent type of grain. But depending on what you shoot, you can go with tripod, 50Iso at EL25 of 120 roll :)

wow, thanks for the info on the different types of ilford film...have to admit, i'm not all that knowledgeable once it goes beyond normal hp5.

sadly, i don't do my own development: i send the rolls off to the lab, but then scan the negs when they come back. in most of these shots, i've set my canon A1 to overexpose by 1 stop, though.

I love the angle, the fact that the picture was taken from a slight elevating, just the subtilety of it.... and the contrast in this shot is good. I just love it overall, I have a penchant for vinyls and pictures of them haha, so I might be a bit biased :P
