I can honestly say that Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes had the greatest impact on me getting into making cartoons. And, as huge a fan as I am, this is really the very first time I've ever drawn them. It was lots of fun and really took me back to all the great moments from the strip.

i like the way that hobbes is only imaginary, but he interacts with things physically. my fav was when calvin got lost because he was following someone he thought was his mom and said that moms should have their names tatooed on their calves so that kids can see who they are. and the one where he blows up his school. that's a good one.
