Narcissa

this is a first . . a collaboration. first for me and for the amazing and phenomenally talented she is responsible for the gorgeous centerpiece (I supplied the opal) and the clasp button.

for those who suspect . . yes, it is named after Narcissa Malfoy. I hardly ever do anything fan-art . . . am rarely ever inspired to that point. but for some reason, this idea randomly took possession of my brain and wouldn't turn me loose till I started it. no one but Elly could conceivably create the pieces I needed, and she was gracious enough to play along. for which I am eternally in her debt! she did a stunning job creating the centerpiece for me . . . based on a vague idea I had about 2 snakes twining about an oval opal. she never ceases to amaze me with her talent! the details in that piece alone are worthy of a stand-alone pic (which will be in my scraps soon!).

so yeah, here it is. the long-awaited collab piece I've hinted about since November. this has too many hours to count in it . . . over a thousand seed beads adorn it, along with a LOT of AB swarovskian crystals and teardrops, swarovskian pearls of varying sizes . . . and one gorgeous natural white peacock eye feather. that sucker was pricey!!! >_< can't believe how much those go for.

do not ask a price on this unless you are completely serious. I am really getting attached to it, and have a lot of money invested in it. which, for a random piece, is just plain insane. white is not even close to my fave color, but this is really just amazing in person . . iridescent. hopefully worthy of it's namesake. with any luck, I will be doing a real shoot with it soon . . am waiting for a model of mine (who is naturally tow-headed and gorgeously pale) to stop being sick so I can do this justice!!!
