Description

My third piece for 2020 West Schaaf Gallery's 2019 Spring Show. Kill 'em With Kindness is a collage of hand cut scrapbooking paper based on the James Bond film The Living Daylights (1987). I reworked this image from a piece I did for my Independent Study course as an undergraduate nearly ten years ago. I used a landscape photo for the background rather than a pattern to enhance and complement the theme of this work. One unspoken rule of James Bond poster art is that Bond is the only person who can point a gun at another human; I've only found one exception to this rule so far.
