Bench Warming

This sketch came from one of *Zuchax's ideas. Here we have the four main guys of the Underground comic, sitting on a bench with various reading materials.

From left to right: Mike (reading an automotive magazine), Andy (reading a military surplus catalog), Akira (reading a shonen fighting manga), and Daisuke (reading a . . . very interesting book).

Overall, I'm fairly happy with how the picture came out. The basic idea was to put the guys side-by-side for contrast, to emphasize their differences in appearance and personality, and I think it accomplishes that goal. There are a few details that I think could have turned out better, here and there. Eventually, I think I'll come back and re-draw this same scene, just because I love the concept so much.
