There are times...

So here we are. Been trying to find a place to paint all last month, but it didn't quite work out and had to create this yesterday. It would have been fun to post this back in JUNE since; ya know; JUNEbug.

Anyway, this was something I meant to do for over a year. I don't quite know when, but I was outside one day. I got to thinking about things. I remembered reading something from an artist on this site saying he hates people, and went on to explain his life having been mostly ostracized by others just made him not want to interact in general. I totally get that. I wouldn't say his reasoning was invalid. Yes, I say society as a whole can easily wear you down. One thing; though: is there are people who are good. You may not even meet 'em, never know where they are, but you can only find 'em if you decide to be one yourself.

What does that have to do with this? Well, I saw this junebug outside that one day. It's stillness; was cathartic. It was just a reminder that sometimes we have to see the bigger picture. That something so small; a gift from above, can make you think outside yourself. That I can only be the person I aspire to be if I hold on to my resolve. Heh. Funny how that works, eh? 

The picture and whatever you see is only for the individual to decide what it means. But for me; it's a symbol. That for whoever takes the time to listen to me I am grateful for each chance to learn more about myself. So; thatnks to all who listen; and to those who comment on anything of mine is listening in it's own right. So yeah, sometimes...
