Ah, Shovel Knight. Now there's a concept that is strictly video game material. The game doesn't immediately take itself very seriously, as expected, but when it gets real (which it can) it gets real.
So yeah, in the mode Specter of Torment (and I'm trying to be minimal with spoilers), we see the Enchantress has the power to corrupt the mind of another. I speculate this is mostly due to the naivety of the target, but it had my mind racing as to why she didn't try the same on Shovel Knight himself. I also figured this would be a good way to expound on the elements of the story I appreciated. Oh, and I included some of the coolest relics in there too. Had to be done.
