Apparitions

So I've been meaning to do this for a while. Just so happens I uploaded this month when people do a daily ink challenge. But I don't need that! Just one cool pic in ink suits me! Inktober eat your heart out.

In Shovel Knight, Specter of Torment; Specter Knight sets out to recruit the bosses in the game and then comes across this mysterious figure. Whereas you face him as Shovel Knight when he's testing you for combat, against Specter Knight he lets you know he means business! And with all his flashy lightning powers (did I mention how much I love lightning powers?), Specter's in for the fight of of undead life. I felt quite a surge of tension in this "electrifying" battle!

I think I loved the music in Specter Knight's mode more than the original campaign. (Save for one track) Loved the remix of the theme on this stage, too. Specter Knight's play style invokes that of ninja gaiden (though I've never played that game), and was really fun. Had to draw a moment from it.
