No art for a while as I'm trying to figure out the tiny machinations of this little being who looks up at me and just waits for me to get it. It's amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. She's beautiful, and was born with a full head of white-blonde hair. Nurses snuck in to my room to see her that weren't even in my wing after they heard about it. So... yeah. Art is wonderful, but this project was started 9 months ago and I'm okay with losing sleep to figure out how to help her grow.

I'm pregnant! And exhausted. And constantly nauseous. But for some reason I STILL have enough drive to quit my job and try to make a living with art. Because there is no way in hell I was going to give birth and then go back to a tech support job slogging through 2nd shift while my child grew up. None. And I suspect they know that, but they can suck it up. I'm burned out on tech work and it's time to play with colored pencils and watercolors like I have always, always, ALWAYS wanted to do. Wish me luck.

...got tired of the meme-thing on the front page so I'm switching it out. There really isn't much to report. I sort of... broke... for a little bit. Very mopey, no energy, unable to really get it together to draw anything. Given that I had been doodling every day for the past 5-6 months to NOT be able to draw seemed very alien. When I finally had multiple images pop in to my head at once and I had to draw them out, I knew the weird spell was over. I've got an intensive digital arts class coming up that I am both reeeeally looking forward to and kind of fearing. I know I need serious work on so, so many things but there's nothing like having
