It's cold. So cold that I have to wear fingerless gloves when I sit at my computer indoors. That cold. I sleep with socks, which I by the way detest, if it hadn't been that they're so wonderfully warm.
Enough of my complaints. Snow is beautiful, but its best and most underestimated quality is it's ability to reflect light. I've only ever heard it talked of as a disadvantage when skiing. It's much more than that. Up here in northern countries, where days grow short in the winter, the snow makes even the nights bright. I'm sure that we'd have a lot more cases of winter depressions if it hadn't been from the snowlight.
Cheers from Denmark and dried roses to the lot of you (because they're actually really beautiful and lasts longer than fresh roses, though they're more fragile)
