Sorry to any one who had been missing the comic pages from The Last Sheriff and Operation: Boom, everything's been a bit manic so I'm just catching up with all the various social medias and websites I need to update. There will be a bit of a barrage of pages today to try to get you all up to date.

In other comic news we've had all the lineart for Operation: Boom Issue 3 through so I'm now going to be colouring that for the next month to get it out there real soon. The art has been done by Brian Vander go and check him out on twitter @vander11chi or on instagram BrianVander.

We've also released our latest art book recently, I'll try to post some shots of that on here shortly. I'm really proud of how it's come out.

Wow it's been a hectic period up to Christmas, had loads on at work and being trying to get a couple of art pieces finished. Both projects are finished now so I can sit back and relax with a good pint o' ale!

Hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year!

We are working on quite a few X-men pieces at the moment. The plan is to post them all in one big batch, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. The first two (Wolverine & Deadpool, and Cyclops pieces) are pretty much finished and are looking sweet. We have another 4 to do, Storm & Nightcrawler, Juggernaut, Gambit and another Wolverine. The lineart is already done on these pieces and they just need me to put my wax crayons to work on them.

We'll be working on pieces for Udon's Megaman Tribute competition over January so probably won't be submitting anything for a while as entries to the competition aren't supposed to be submitted on deviant.

The first piece is looking sweet, when we are ultimately unsuccessful we will post everything in our gallery for your viewing pleasure.

Hope you're all well and the New Year has been good to you so far.

Thought it was about time we made this page a bit more personal so here goes.

Asylum Comics is a collaborative endeavor between Chris Imber and Chris 'Burbs' Jenkins. Although the name suggests it, we still haven't actually made a comic yet, most of our designs have been one offs for various projects. Our main work has been CD designs, Tattoos, and designs for print. We would love to do a comic but we are both full time employed in none artistic jobs so we don't have a lot of time to commit to it. Any designs we do are entirely things that interest us and capture our imagination.

We are both keen to improve at what we do so if anyone does have any comments/criticism they want to send our way we will always take it on board for future designs.

If anybody does like our style and would like any commission work doing just send us a quick message to discuss.

That's all for now,
