Rebelle is one-of-a-kind paint application that lets you create realistic aquarelle - watercolor and acrylic artworks using real world color mixing, blending, moistening and drying.
The unique watercolor simulation was created by artist Peter Blaskovic as one of his experimental projects. The initial vision was to create the most natural painting tools possible. Rebelle was made for both CG artists as well as for traditional painters who want to explore their artistic skills and wish to enjoy beautiful aquarelle features using digital technique.

Escape Motions has extended the $10 sale of their apps - Rebelle, Amberlight, Flame Painter, and Inspirit. I don't know how long the extension will last, but at that price getting Rebelle is a no-brainer. I have used Rebelle from the first version, and it is excellent for fluid dynamics abstraction as well as more traditional art.
I'm trying to get back into art after a stroke several years ago, especially watercolors. After playing around with the Rebelle demo version, I feel like it might be a good purchase. Can anyone say 1. Is the basic Rebelle 3 adequate without the supplemental features and effects? 2. What drawing tablet is recommended? In particular I read a good review of "X-Pen Artist 15.3 inch" tablet. Anyone have an experienced opinion? All the Best, Chaim
