2016 - well I've had this account for years its about time I started adding some of my work to it!  My work can roughly be divided into painting that is overtly emotional and political, and work that is more decorative/abstract.  I was a painter before doing henna, but having been a henna artist for nearly 20 years, what I have learned has greatly affected my artwork.  I am developing a technique now using henna as a medium in a relatively unusual manner, similar to an impasto or build up of textures. I live in Seattle, Washington and show frequently at small galleries and cafes around town.
