Just a PSA, I'm always up for critique. :> Maybe some of you are like me and kinda need an invitation, cuz you're never sure who will take critique well and who'll throw a fit. But yeah. No fit-throwing from this artist over critiques, so feel free any time. And don't feel like you always have to write a novel-length critique, any little bit helps.

i love your rawings and i noticed judal ones being uploaded in the kou group but... yeah .. kou... wasn't judal supposed to be chinese? we see that in the flashbacks too, he's a different being from the one thousand nights  character and we know  from the character guide hes dressed that way to impress sinbad
I'm assuming you mean why I color him with brown skin? You're right in that Magi Judal is supposed to be from the far east (not China, but a mythological equivalent I guess), but my Judal interpretation comes more so from the "One Thousand and One Nights" Judar, with the story/stories being set in the middle east. They're separate characters, yes, but Magi's Judal is undoubtedly based off of Judar. Plus, east Asian people can have dark skin.
oh yep i was just wondering since i was used to the very pale canon one, i'm always surpised cause i never see dark skinned ja'fars as well  while i have sure seen dark skinned fanalis alo a darker skinned alibaba and stuff... i only saw dark skinned judals around the net and i got curious
No problem! I drew an African Morgiana before, I would probably continue to draw the Fanalis that way because they were originally meant to have dark skin, and their homeland looks like the African plains. Personally, if I were to draw all of the Magi cast, I might leave Ja'far pale because I interpret him to be albino, but most of the rest of the cast would be brown. I wish I could see more people coloring them brown, to be honest. :>
Hello! :)
I see you have a few boy characters with horns!
Would you be interested in joining my group :iconhornyboys: ?
