Just a really simple stamp. I'm not in the mood to study. Bad Becca. :XD:

Inspired by the fact that people who think digital artists have no talent really piss me off. :pissed: People who think it's all point and click and voila! Art. Stfu. No.

The only difference is we have an undo button. Got. It. Memorized?

Feel free to use in your journals!

Composed in Photoshop.
Animated in ImageReady.

Traditional art is misunderstood more because it is for "amateurs"

I have to disagree...most "professional" artists that I know work with traditional media. Traditional media certainly seems to sell better, for example, where pet portraits are concerned.

Speaking of people saying digital artist so t have talent. My friend calls it cheating and that it really isn't art! That really pissed me off. She kept dissing me and all of the digital artist out there! This world is filled with digital art. Guess how cereal boxes are made and a whole bunch of stuff!
So one day I said. Try it! I invited her to my house to try out digital art and she took her words back right away. She couldn't even write her name! Now she gives digital artist full respect.

Ummm no. Not everyone can do digital art.  Have you tried it for yourself even?! It hard and takes practice.

Hmm... Is that just like "Anyone can draw manga well"? :hmm: Because after a quick stroll through certain galleries, I have to say otherwise...

So true, I hate when people say that digital art is worth less than traditional art. You still have to learn the basics of anatomy, colour theory, etc… you are just using a different medium.

:iconfacepalmplz: since when? okay, maybe traditional art allows you to correct your errors easier than with trad. but still... when you draw on a tablet or with paper and pen, it's almost the same, except the undo button :/ and the coloring goes faster and with some programms it's indeed easier to color and shade, but this doesn't mean digital art is less than trad.! they are both good on their own way! i'm a digital drawer, and i can say, i tip my had for the ones who make such epic art on digital programs as far as having a DD! it's not as easy as many would think! it's easy if you get it and know how to use all the tools, but it's still pretty complex and it takes an endless time to understand, learn, and get used to! so for those who say digital art isn't art, they should go and use photoshop or Adobe Cs5 and THEN we can talk -_-
sorry forthe rant, but this really gets me angry :(

I have a friend online who believes that...I showed him an artist who does great digital work and he said he'd smoke her anyday, I argued and then he challenged me to do stuff he does. I'm a cartoonist, he's a realism guy. BTW, AGREED!

I wouldn't mind a fucking really life undo button. So many rubbers spent.

Fully agree with this stamp.

For the record, digital artists who use sparkly effects and crap to distract from mediocre drawing skills are a dime a dozen. ;)

You can also say exactly the same thing about traditional artists. ;) There are plenty of tricks that can be applied to traditional art to "distract from mediocre drawing skills."

But again, who is to say that artfully applying those effects is not a skill or talent in itself?

In my opinion digital art is a completely different kind of art than traditional like like dogs and cats some similarities and many seen/unseen differences
though i also think in a way traditional is harder sorry
