RIP Monty Oum

Wow. He's gone. And the world is lesser for it. The man had amazing talent, and was an inspiration to many. Ever since I saw Dead Fantasy for the first time, I knew what I had to strive for when it came to choreographing fight scenes. And even if Rooster Teeth manages to push on without him, the stuff he worked on will never be the same. At least Monty himself never truly suffered in his final hours. He went into a coma early on, and his death was painless. A blessing, really. That he never felt pain and fear in the end. That's good. He didn't deserve it. So... RIP Monty Oum. Your work will be loved by many for years to come.

Last month, I had to put my cat down. It was very tough. I've had pets put down before, but I was always in the waiting room or at home because I was still a kid (my last pet to be put down happened when I was 12 or so). This was the first time I was in the room when my cat died, as I held him in my arms and he just went limp. I'm tearing up a bit thinking about it... At any rate, it's been about a month and a half since it happened, and I'm finally working again... Mainly because I'm getting local commissions. I've finally finished the Wego's fate from my Manifestation storyline and I'm going to be taking a break from those concepts. Got so
