A Banished Brute captain, crimson warplate gleaming, stormed through the shattered bay doors, wielding the Mutilator—a double-barreled shotgun with an integrated gravity hammer, its orange lights glowing ominously. Jackals and Grunts trailed, their cries echoing.

Cooper’s neural link thrummed, ORCUS diagnostics crisp: shields at 92%, thrusters primed. The Brute roared, leveling the Mutilator and firing a double blast, the pellets spreading wide. Cooper dodged with a thruster burst, the shot shredding a console behind him. The Brute charged, swinging the Mutilator’s gravity hammer tip in a deadly arc, but Cooper ducked, the air howling above his helmet.

He channeled the ORCUS’s power into his gauntlet, actuators glowing blue as they overclocked. With a grunt, he launched a brutal left hook, the suit amplifying his strike into a thunderclap. The punch smashed the Brute’s jaw, black blood spraying as its head snapped back. The Mutilator clattered to the deck as the Brute collapsed, its roar fading to a gurgle.
