Yes, I got a quite interesting job as an illustrator in publisher from New Zealand. I'm in charge of fully illustrating a series of books (cover art and internal art). And yes, out from nowhere, just like that, my computer started taking and not taking intermittently the freakin Wacom tablet. I thought that my computer was all crazy but I plugged the thing in other 3 computers, and the tablet just keeps doing the same!
I'll search like crazy somewhere to get it fixed. And if it has no solution, then I'll have to buy a whole new tablet.
You all know that I don't use these sites to bore you with my life or whatever. But if my current tablet has no solution, then it will be just so... unfair. I'll have to spend most of the money (or all of it) that I earned working with my tablet, JUST TO BUY A NEW TABLET. And in addittion, it happens right when I got a solid job in the illustration field.

Don't know what to say. This is not cool...

Hey, folks! I'm writing this journal to announce that I decided to be open for some sketch commissions before college starts again.
I won't take full CG commissions this time because lately I'm sketching like crazy, painting and experimenting with those sketches much more, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Also, it let me organize my schedule with more flexibility.

Yo por mi parte ando reviendo algunas cosas de mi deviant me entero que mi último journal data de épocas remotas, y que merecería ser cambiado.
Es así que me tomo la libertad de comentar algunas cosas:

Ya bien saben algunos de ustedes los problemas por los que estoy atravesando familiarmente y la verdad que mucho de los planes que tenía para estas vacaciones se vieron obligados a ser modificados de forma inminente.
Sin embargo, hace tiempo he estado pensando en arrancar haciendo sesiones Livestreameras, donde los concurrientes a las mismas habrían de presenciar algunos procesos de pintado en vivo, hablar en directo con moi de cualquier pavada y por que no, llevarse gratuitamente algún souvenir artístico de mi autoría a pedido. No sería precisamente pronto la realización de estas sesiones, pero me gustaría saber cuantos están interesados para saber si merece la pena realizar los preparamientos apropiados para dicho evento.

Por otro lado también había pensado en que hace tiempo que no hago comisiones. Si alguien se haya interesado avísenme así preparo proximamente una nueva tabla de precios y demás.

About me, by doing some checking on my deviantART page I realize that my last journal was made in ancient times, and it deserves to be changed.
That's why I take myself the liberty to comment some things:

Some of you already know the family problems I'm going through and to be honest, most of the plans I had for these holidays needed to be drastically changed.
Still, it's been a while since I started thinking about making some Livestream sessions, where the atendants could see some live painting process, talking with moi about whatever and, why not, leaving with some artistic souvenir of my own by request. It wouldn't be soon, precisely, but I would like to know how many of you are actually interested in order to start making the appropriate preparations for it.

On the other side, I've been thinking about the long time I was inactive here on dA on the commission field. If anyone is interested tell me so I can start preparing a new commission price table and stuff.

Starting the new year with a kind of HELP ME journal. Don't worry it's nothing serious... or maybe yes.
So, here's what happens: over a midtone base color I add some dark colours, then I grab the "SMUDGE" tool to blend both colors and… WTF??? A brighter color than the other two appears, making me unable to blend the colors because, somehow, a third color of NOT-my choosing gets in the middle!

But wait, this only happens when both colours are in separated layers. On the second picture you have the effect made when the colors are in the same layer and I'm unable to do that effect when the colors are separated!

I dunno if it's a setting of the tool or whatever, but it's pretty annoying since I cannot make the effect I want to.

Please, spread the word here among dA or anywhere else and help a fellow artist. This is pretty important for me. pleeeease? = (
