so. around 4 years ago, i met
. a deviantart user that focuses on two things........... drawings of cartoon characters sleeping, and making generally angry rants about family guy episodes.
let me put this into context. one of the key reasons why he would say an episode is bad is two things.
1. How offensive the episode is.
2. How much Brian is tortured.
yep, this is some child getting offended at his favorite character being beaten to shit, or at least. that would make sense if this guy wasn't on his mid 20's(oh my god, i'm sounding like leafy).
look, i understand that not everything is acceptable. but he REALLY is pushing it to the limit, if you even do as little as to disrupt Brian Griffin's day, not only will he go on a CAPS LOCK RAMPAGE TO SIMULATE SCREAMIIIIIIIING. but he will hold that shit over your head for the rest of your fucking life.
so...... 3/4 years ago, i said that Brian griffin..........really isn't the best character. whether or not i went a little overboard is up to you, people. but keep in mind, these are fictional caracters. so....... because i say that it might've not been a good idea to bring Brian back. Steven does the most reasonable thing he possibly can........ He says i'm a heartless prick and i that i can't see the good in people no matter what.
so, the months pass and...... like anyone with a social life..... i give up. i don't see it's worth it.
*ONE YEAR LATER*
then i discover that he went berserk again. this time because metlife "fired" snoopy. saying such lovely things such as "If i see anyone from MetLife, I will kick their ass!!!" considering what i've seen from him. this is kind of expected.
but guess what, i called him out...... and i don't think he liked it very much. as he not only hid the original comment, but said the following.
"you're about to be blocked, and 2nd, don't you DARE say the lords name in vein in front of me again!"
This is the man saying we should calm the fuck down about Donald trump.
so, of course. i ignore him for 1+ year more. and i realized he reviewed the Family Guy Twitter episode..... now i'm sure Brian griffin has improved as a character as of now, but i'm also seeing he gave this episode a 1/10 because "Brian doesn't deserve this sh*t, all season long, that's the tagline for this season, "Family Guy, Season 16, where we abuse the f*ck out of Brian!", it might be early to say this, but i really don't care, and i don't care what others have to say, but, To HELL with this season!, and you know, i watched the season finale of Sonic Boom, and it was really good, and that's one good thing about Sonic Boom, it's much better, it's not offensive, and they never have an awful episode, while Family Guy on the other hand, does not follow their standards"
i love it how he says this right after saying "stop making such a big deal out of it!!!" .
but seriously Sonicandtailsfan, Real life people saying offensive things: No Biggie. A fictional character getting the shit beaten out of him: INSTANT CAPS LOCK TRIGGERED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
also, should i bring up that all of the Brian abuse was depicted as something *clears throat* N E G A T I V E. because drama is bad and the end should always be happy, a war movie should end with everyone living happily ever after....... dear god. imagine him watching something like "The Departed" "Bojack Horseman" or "Black Mirror". but despite family guy not being anywhere NEAR the quality of those shows, it's a satire. and if you're trying to be as inoffensive as possible, you're........ kinda missing the point in parody".
but at last.
blocked me, most likely to get the final word.
to quote the famous quote from duckman "Sure, humor can hurt, even alienate, but the risk is better than the alternative: a steady diet of innocuous, child-proof, flavorless mush! Demand to be challenged, to be offended, to be treated like thinking, reasoning adults. And raise your children to be the same. Don't let a comedian, a network, a Congressional committee, or an evil genius take away your freedom to laugh at whatever you want.".
And that....... is why i think
should grow up and stop seeing everything with kid gloves.
