First of all: Hello and welcome to R.A.W.
Our purpose here is to say: Down with the Metal Bikini! and promote, share, and create art featuring warrior women that understand and accept the values of fully functional armor not just armor that looks pretty/sexy.
I know that leaves some unanswered questions so I'm going to try and cover them in the rules below and a FAQ.
If your art is added to the group you are of course more than welcome to join as well. Just because we don't send you an invite when we request your work doesn't mean we don't want you to be a part of the group. We just have very limited space for invites.
Any level artist may join.
You don't need to be an artist to join. We just ask that you participate through commenting the artwork displayed.
You must appreciate women in full armor.
You must understand that different cultures have different armor
Rules To Submit Art:
Please read the FAQ &/or Gallery Descriptions before submitting for the first time if you are unsure of what we mean. Links are found at the bottom of this.
Art MUST feature at least 1 (ONE) female in armor UNLESS it is of an armor design, but then the armor MUST be meant for FEMALE use.
Armor means culturally correct protective outwear that covers vital organs and is made of leather, metal, or whatever bullet proof vests are made of: Kevlar.
Incase you haven't guessed NO metal bikini armor, "Magic Bras", gravity defying cleavage, metal swimsuits etc.
Submit to the correct folder. Featured is not listed because it is an ADMIN decision on who gets featured.
Artistic nudity is allowed as long as it is culturally correct or NOT on a battlefield.
Fan Art IS allowed as long as it follows the Group's Rules.
Art must have female in armor in it or based on female armor.
Do not take other artists' work and try to pass it off as your own. That is art theft and we take it very seriously here.
