Chapter 1: The Little Princess
Whoever had built the structure had some odd ideas about architecture and décor. Outside, the place looked mostly like a run-of-the-mill abandoned office buildingsave for the part where it hadn't been there yesterdaytall with dark, mostly boarded over windows and a heavily cracked brick edifice. The structure's interior was full of small, vacant rooms, in fact, after two hours of searching, there seemed to be more rooms than the exterior suggested possible.
"What've you got, Kitty?"
Kitty Pryde, having forgotten about the com-link in her ear, jumped at the sudden question then ran a hand through her thick, brown hair and spared a few impolite words for her dear leader before activating her speaker. "Scott, could you maybe not spook me while I'm exploring creepy, ghost buildings?"
