Leopold Reference Sheet

Leopold is a simulation of the right hemisphere of the human brain. As such, he understands emotions, instinction, and creative and abstract ideas. He is much worse at handling logic or understanding patterns, and lacks the capability for spoken or written language. (He does know some rhythms of pattern and smaller logical conclusions. Just not nearly as heightened.)

Leopold is the most highly developed machine that has been developed thus far, and his face and body have had painstaking attention put into it to accomodate for the emotional response he gives. Since he can’t use language, to the outward world he communicates through sounds that represent his feelings, although not the specific information he might have otherwise conveyed. Kaz acts as his language translator, although he communicates with Kaz through binary (computer language).
