I made a few presets, then couldn't stop...
Relatively big installer i know, too many bitmaps.

Also upon returning here noticed my other packs had mysteriously buggered off, another big devart crash a while back then. They're back now.

Three by ~raz is another pack that beautifully combines the technical with the stylistic.. again. The intro of this sweet collection of Winamp AVS presets deserves the DD alone. Instant Download! ( Featured by yathosho )

The intro is weirdly scaring me a bit.

if the intro was different.. scared.... 'the 2nd'

a little late with the comment, but damn this is incredible. i'd have to go on and on if i wanted to point out everything i liked about each preset, so i'll just say i love it. congrats on the DD, and congrats on creating this incredible pack.

I like the labyrinth zone preset. You play sonic?
But i hate the token shrooms preset. It uses d=0.15. I think better if you use a DM.

I lol'd at the intro, just beautiful!

Rest of the pack is a treat too, very nice technical show offs and aesthetics to go with it. Love Sugar Frosted Pillars, such a simple looking preset, but so much effort and complexity in the code, i salute! :salute:
Also Clean is a fav, such lovely colors, smooth looks and nice reactions. Oh and Isometric is fun, very very fun! :D

Good job Raz, you did good with this pack. :+fav:

Intro: Wow, it just goes on and on. Very cool.
Disco ma cubism: Nice remic of one of my favourite presets.
Sugar frosted pillars: It's ok.
Pool: Lovely, lot a atmosphere.
The dark side: Cool idea, i agree with Yathosho though, it could use some more polish.
Clean: Awesome, best preset i've seen in a while.
Oil: Meh.
Winamp: Cool, very UnConed like.
Isometric: Cool, very NemoOrange like.
Grey: nice illusion of depth.
Glow worms: Hey, particle trails! I like those.
Token Shroom Preset: Old-school indeed.

nobody thinks about linux users... wtf can i do with a .exe?
yathosho Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2007
probably because even less would people think about people that actually get avs run under linux - it's possible, so if you're do so, send me a message and i can send a zip

> 01 Intro
no, really.

> 02 Disco Ma Cubism remix
just as you said - Shiny

> 03 Sugar Frosted Pillars

> 04 Pool
The circular background feels a bit out of place.
I understand you'd want some kind of background but it could use something I think.

> 05 The Dark Side
I love both Star Wars and Pink Floyd:)
A tad too slow for me.

> 06 Clean
heh those squares look great here. I love the minimalism (the term Nemo-like is overused)

> 07 Oil
Really dark for me (12.4FPS@400x300)
The grid that's created by the Heavy blur bothers me a bit too. Not the strongest preset in your pack.

> 08 Winamp
Pure leetness

> 09 Isometric
even those little cubes change in size
You must really love your avatar

> 10 Simple as possible
I missed it too, which I still regret.
Great preset, only downside is that it's sometimes too dark for me

> 11 Grey Perspective
Great idea, even better executed

> 12 Glow Worms
It's difficult to say something about this one.. I like it.

> 13 Goddamn Lost Again
I love it.

> 14 Token Shrooms Preset
I love how they spin. Pure attraction

> 15 Squares
Losing presets sucks. A bit flashy with fast beats

> 16 Labyrinth zone
Sonic FTW. I demand more rings =P

O__O wow..
yathosho Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2007
i always thought, turning texer images would be it - just that i'm not capable of anything like this. the catminddo remix is ace. maybe somebody needs to redo the floyd preset with some additional overlaying effects like their videos. clean is just what the name says - and i like that. oil is maybe the only preset that would need some additional trans effects, the visible parts are too thin to let that effect work. grey perspective brings back some catminddo/tonic presets plus an excellent texture. i don't have to say anything about glow worms, who wouldn't love this preset? same goes for token shrooms preset, though the shroom-theme it self might be tiring. labyrinth zone! jesus, i was alway a sucker for jump'n'runs.

very nice pack, mister! congrats on the dd ;)

Man, i dig this pack heaps.
pool, amazing colours
clean, such a diffrent style of preset, i love the effect and the colours
oil, i love the dark tones and the flow
isometric, ha, such a good effect again
simple as possible, the movement is cool, i like the colours to
glow worms, i love the camera movement and the texer, the colours are good to. this is my favourite
token shroom preset, cool effect and nice style and colours
Labyrinth Zone, so much code and im such a die hard sonic fan, such a massive preset.
Great stuff, seriously!

I love you pack, Raz. Keep it up! :)
Hboy Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2007
sweetness for the avs-dependant minds. really solid, except maybe for oil, which is too slow for that effect it produces imo. happy to see you posting a big pack :)
