Could i get a link just for the blue one please, i understand you put effort in to this and should be paid but i just want the blue colour!

I love this cursor, is there any chance we can get a slightly larger version in the premium pack? I absolutely don't mind paying for it (you deserve it!), but it's slightly small for my taste.

do you have a 4k monitor? Windows 10 only does 48px and 32px cursors as far as I know. I still haven't concluded whether people have been able to get a 64px one to work with high dpi settings.

tl;dr I'm working on figuring it out, this cursor is normal sized on my monitor

Fabulous work indeed, thoroughly enjoying the 'Premium' version.

Thank you:+fav:

Hi - is there any chance you could make a 32px version? I see that all the cursors in this set are 48px versions, which doesn't go well with my desktop...

If it's too much of a hassle, I would gladly help.

well well well, looks like I finally delivered

Just downloaded the premium pack. Purple's more my style. ;)

Indeed you did - thank you so very much! :boogie:

it might not look great, I'm currently working on a project, but maybe after that

Totally understand. I've fiddled around in RealWorld Cursor Editor and made some 32px versions from the png's in stead... :)

Looks cool! Can't try it just yet as I'm not the intended user.

Hey Allan, how easy/difficult is it to make a mousecape version of such a windows cursor set?

allannyholm's avatar

It's not difficult - there's a limit on the frames in the animations. 24 is the max.

You just have your 32x32 pixel cursor and the double for retina sizes. The regular mode cursor is to be x3 and x5 for the "(find)invoke mouse cursor"-option

:) I have some issue with animations lately(colors darken with each extra step of animation) when I drag and drop in succession onto the drop area in Mousecape but there's the usual way of stacking all the frames in a single PNG instead.

I can't produce any new cursors with animations in them because of this issue. Even though I have some almost ready.

Thanks for your reply - I have "procured" an old 2009 non-retina iMac and have tried out your mousecape themes - looking for new stuff or how to make them myself. :)

:D sounds like fun. With High Sierra being the latest macOS?

It can be quite fun making these little buggers - There of course doesn't need to be animations in the Busy or Wait states. So one could skip that all together and just have a single image that describes the cursor state well.

Yup - high Sierra. Only 4 GB, so it's chugging along pretty slow. Hoping to fill it up with 16 GB in the near future...

I'm guessing mousecape is also the software for actually making the cursor sets? I've found the github page so I'll be digging around for more info... :)

The Mousecape app is essentially to, yes, combine the graphics you may have on hand and make them in to a shareable cursor set. I've just spend 3 or are hours cleaning up Mousecape and adding 2, at this point, minor translations, Danish and German. And also sorting out various odds and ends.
