So school is impending, and I'm not 100% sure as to whether or not I'm looking to the 22 hr drive that I'm taking to school or not. I suppose so, we're stopping by Mt Rushmore the second day, and *hopefully* going to have a great time traveling. So being in a new place seems to be a big thrill for me...this is the second time I've been going west from home, and the fourth life's choice that I have made (and consider a bit of an adventure) that has me traveling away from home. Mind you, I've never been one to travel on my own -- there is nothing more I love than to have someone to share my little revelations with. I don't know what, exactly, it is I love so much about traveling and discovering new places...the concept of not knowing much of anything beyond the name of the place I'm at, or not knowing any of the people there, or just discovering something new about the world, or myself; I love it. I hope I always am able to travel - or else find someplace that I am constantly able to make new discoveries about the place that I'm in. Either way, I will have my camera, so hopefully anyone who ventures onto my page and whatnot will find many, many more new things to keep your eyes busy to look at.
My cat, Jack, has now settled down from being irked at me for not being able to settle down fast enough for him to doze at all. He decided placing himself facing the computer with his front legs sitting on the desk was the best idea -- I guess the desk is more dependable than me to not move. lol. I recently replaced an old desk that took up too much space in my small room with an artist's desk that was sitting in the basement...fitting I think since it seems I have just hit my drawing phase...unfitting that I'll be leaving for school in two weeks and 4 days... I can't believe summer is nearly over...
