Having acquired a decent camera for my birthday, I'm going to start adding some stock images. Please note that ONLY the images in the stock folder are available as stock - anything else is not. I previously had a stock account at ravven-stock.deviantart.com/ but I've unfortunately lost the login details for that account. Terms of use are included on every image.

Not Dead, Only SleepingAs usual, I am terribad at responding to notes - if I have missed anyone, I really have to apologise.
Currently I have just left my career as a web designer, developer and project manager (EEEEK!!!) and am trying to launch a new career based around my art. WelcomeI haven't been on deviantART much lately due to a new job and also doing a lot of freelance work, so I apologise for my lack of response. I am really, really bad at responding to everyone and thanking them for favs, etc. But they are very much appreciated, and I'm happy to be part of such a vibrant, talented community.
Some of the work here is old; I haven't done any serious photography, watercolours, or drawings for a long time. I tend to work in phases, and right now I'm working almost exclusively in photo manipulation...but things change.

Queen of ShadowsIn the dream I am visiting the Queen of Shadows. It is night, of course, as it always is in her cold marble palace. We are trying on clothes.
Black upon black upon black, in every conceivable material and hue: velvet in the deepest black of space, starred with diamonds; silk in shimmering opalescent folds gleaming with peacock colors; black lace intricate as the fabric of uneasy dreams, convoluted and occult; midnight leather soft as touch, heavy with the souls of animals.
The Queen of Shadows tosses me a high-necked, long-sleeved gown, buttoned from throat to ankle with thousands of tiny buttons: a priest's cassock, austere from the front, the back completely open down to shadowed cleft. She cannot wear it, as she has raven's wings instead of arms; pinions rustle open and closed, longing to be able to touch, to hold.

Protecting yourself from Paypal chargebacksI decided I'd write something on this since it seems to be affecting a lot of my friends and artists I'm close to. I'll start with a few disclaimers.
Disclaimer 1:
I am not a finance expert. I have never filed a chargeback nor have I been in a chargeback dispute (fortunately). I have done some research out of both curiosity and out of desire to help out the community a bit. This is going to be quick(ish) and summarized. I'm also going to be changing some things to the way I sell as well (obviously).
Disclaimer 2:
This journal isn't about what to do in a chargeback dispute but rather, how to set up your sales so that you'll have the upper hand when having to deal with a dispute. I've included some useful links at the bottom for further information!

TLECs 2nd Annual Training Show RESULTS UPSo, this is a wee bit late, please ignore the huge time gap. XD
TLEC has decided to once again, open its gates to the public for another large training show. This time, it was to be run a little differently. Last time was stressful, and thats not the point of a training show. With that being said, they set up the new list of classes and decided on a different judging style. This time, there would be playful classes as well, to make it more family oriented.

Rules
- No fighting or harassment, we are an equal opportunity stable
- All breeds may enter, but no unnatural powers may be used to get an advantage
- Judging is simple, both effort and rng for performance (guide will be listed below)
- Linearts, Photomanips, Trades, and Commissions may enter (tracing is allowed, at the very least list you have used a ref)
- Old entries may be submitted, but will receive a penalty for not fitting the setting

Hi everyone!I usually hate seeing journals like this, but given that I’ve spent 13 years on this site and met thousands of people, knowing there are at least a few of you who would probably want to hear if something was going on, I figure this is the only way to tell you.
For the past several years I’ve been dealing with health issues that I originally attributed to being overweight and/or having a sedentary lifestyle.
A few months ago, I was dealing with a chronic sinus infection and drainage from hell. To offset my symptoms and maybe get some sleep for once, I went to bed with a breathe-right strip on my nose. I woke up with no nose strip to be found and a weird feeling in my throat, like something was there. I went to the emergency room assuming I had swallowed the strip; they looked in my throat and said they didn’t see any plastic strip, but they did see that my throat (epiglottis, vocal cords etc) was terribly swollen, and because I work at an airport, tuberculosis had to b
