Look close, you might miss it otherwise... sorta blends in.
Anyway... just thought I'd upload something to show that I was still alive.
The colors are ridiculously vivid on my computer... but I've noticed that one of the problems with sharing your work online, is that everyone sees a different set of colors... whatever their screen can do.
My old laptop would show things slightly yellower... and my newer one seems to have better whites. God only know what everyone else has. Makes things a little tiresome if you're trying to show a photo with just
the right shade of something... i.e. I may spend a while adjusting the white balance or levels to create --on my screen-- what I think is the most accurate representation of what I remember... but alas, on someone else's monitor, it's going to appear a little different. I seem to be rambling now...
Really sticking to color profiles doesn't seem to help either!
Anyway, this is uncropped and converted from RAW. With minimal editing... it was damn bright and vivid on the back of the camera and even when I first opened it on my screen... so really... there was nothing to do.
Shot with my new fancy-pants 60mm Nikon Macro lens
... which has sadly not gotten the use it deserves.
