I saw it but did not know what it was

this means you can build active swarms among other things

that ik bone is used to bend the model's poses and to point the model's general direction in 3d space.

i'm intrigued, what do you mean by swarms?

tie many objects together and get them to bend and move together as wheat or wind blown butterflies would

understood and yes, i can think of at least one old method, and there are probably newer more advanced tools in blender that could do that.

I should graduate this summer... and than get a better paying job after that. I am going to get a better computer and set myself up to finish a hand drawn film I started 12 years ago. I plan to work on some other animation projects. I am now looking at what I want as far as soft wear and equipment

what courses have you been taking? ...and your thinking of quitting being a camera man?

are any of your animation projects abstract and or psychedelic?

blender isn't well know for it's video editing tools but there pretty decent, and there are several video tutorials on yt and other sites, showing us how to use them, plus i could give you a few tips.

as for as 3d work in general, i have a love/hate relationship with blender, it's powerful but unintuitive and very buggy. but it is free and updated every few days, if you become part of the beta testing community.
