A theoretical depiction of how the fearsome Lovecraftian entity Chthulu might appear in the iconography of the Pacific Northwest native tribes. It is based upon traditional drawings of the squid and a dreaded mythical sea monster called Tchimose. I would appreciate any feedback on this and, if there is sufficient response, would certainly make this available as a print or magnet.

I like it, too. :-) But I prefer the dogfish because it`s less, well, crowded.

I really like this design, and how you incorporated elements of Chthulu into a character from a different mythos. I've only seen this design in one other book- out of curiosity, what led to your interest in Tchimose?

I was looking through references to various creatures and icons in the Pacific Northwest iconography and Tchimose and depictions of squid came up. I was able to piece things together. Sadly, this was done on legacy software and I didn't think ahead to do a high-res file in jpeg. The original exists as a file in Illustrator 6.0 which is almost 15 years old.
