Merlot

Off and on for the better part of a year, I had tried to understand how fractal artists put things "inside" other things using Xaos, but I never could quite get it right: there would also be (at the very least) some overlap or ghosting, and everything would look terrible...  Then I saw the params for BoxTail's Magnesium, and after some careful inspection, suddenly everything made sense!  Here's my first attempt, a (poorly) blurred splits-elliptic inside a plastic.  Upcoming are Igneous (2D gnarl inside plastic), Woven (linear tile inside plastic), and Rivulets (linear tile inside 3D bloom).  Further down the line is a currently-untitled splits-elliptic inside a modified 2D bloom.

An Apophysis 7x fractal.  As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

Since I benefited from others' params, I'll share mine below.  Hopefully, someone might find them of use.
