Vanishing points by Rathsi Vanishing points by Rathsi
Perspective drawing.
I was on a binge of doing double vanishing points when I decided to through in some of my favorite artist’s works. From left to right Michelangelo’s “Creation of Adam” on the Sistine Chapel, William Blake’s “Ancient of Days”, DaVinci’s anatomical study of the womb and lastly “The Crucifixion” by D. Tregniw.

but I could also see this one as sculpture made out of wood. Maybe combination of wood, concrete and chrome that would be so awesome!

So... you didn't recently make this right? Because I feel like this is the perspective drawing that i was telling you about. It is absolutely my favorite thing you've done, because it contains drawings and paintings from some of my heroes, but then you did this really fantastic surreal, landscape with all of the strange shapes around them. This piece really did make me think of surrealism and fantasy way before I got into Salvador Dali.

It's so interesting, it is very hard to find drawings and paintings like this.

You are correct … this is something I created back in “89”. Note that almost all the sets of objects are in thirds. Very symbolic to Christianity. I’m glad it has influenced you. Glad you like it.
