Playstation All-Stars Batte Royale 2 Roster (WIP)
Series: God of WarCharacter: KratosMinion: Brok & SindriStage: YggdrasilStarting things off we have Kratos, a character that is a MUST in a Playstation crossover game. I wouldn't really call him the "Mario" of the Playstation brand (I honestly don't know who would be), but he's definitely one of the Playstation's most iconic mascots. Anyway, this version of Kratos would obviously be based on the God of War (PS4) version; older, less angry now that he got his revenge against Zeus and the other Greek Gods, and uses an axe as well as his Blades of Chaos to deal ice and fire damage. For those who don't know, in the original PSASBR there were these things called Minions, which were basically chibi versions of various characters that did nothing but float around your character. In this I'd give Minions an actual purpose. For example, by equipping either Brok or Sindri you'll do extra damage with items and weapons you pick up.Series: Last of UsCharacter: JoelStage: St. Mary's HospitalSome of you might be wondering why Joel, but Joel CAN work in a game like this. Don't forget that the original PSASBR has Nathan Drake, who is possibly the most NORMAL character on the roster. Anyway, since Last of Us is another one of Sony's successful IPs, Joel has earned his place among the All-Stars. And we do NOT speak of the "sequel" starring the freak in drag who kills the only good character from the first game.Series: Ghost of TsushimaCharacter: Jin SakaiStage: Tsushima IslandGhost of Tsushima was a big hit with gamers (and a big middle finger to SJW/NPC "journalists"), so if there ever would be a sequel to PSASBR, Jin would definitely get on the roster. He might be a recent addition to Playstation's cast of characters, but with his various sword techniques and Ghost Weapons he'll right at home.Series: BloodborneCharacter: The HunterStage: YharnamAnother one of the Playstation's greatest hits, Bloodborne would definitely need to be represented in a possible Battle Royale sequel. Of course, since The Hunter is an "avatar" character the image used would be his default appearance (i.e. his appearance from trailers and concept art). In terms of playstyle he would use his Saw Cleaver and Hunter Blunderbuss to cover both close combat and long range.Series: Death StrandingCharacter: Sam Porter BridgesCharacter: Higgs MonaghanStage: Capital Knot CityWhen it comes to Kojima games, you know it's going to be good (although I couldn't get into this one). That being said, while Sam might play similar to other characters (due to him not having powers), the technology he has can provide new and different ways to attack opponents. As mentioned, I couldn't get into Death Stranding, but from what I do know of it it's that Higgs is a WAY better antagonist than Amelie. It's because Higgs is a great villain that I'm adding him to the roster for this. Unlike Sam, Higgs would fight using his tar manipulation.Series: Horizon Zero DawnCharacter: AloyStage Boss: ThunderjawStage: The EmbraceHorizon Zero Dawn, Playstation's answer to Breath of the Wild and just as successful, it would be asinine not to have Aloy on the roster for a possible PSASBR sequel. Especially since in the first game the only female characters the roster had outside of DLC were Fat Princess (who nobody wanted) and Nariko (did anyone even play her game?). Was there really no other Playstation girls they could have used at the time?Anyway, along with Aloy, Thunderjaw would appear in the game and as a stage boss, allowing players to gain extra points should they be able to beat the mechanical dinosaur. Of course, stage bosses won't be easy. Got to have SOME sort of challenge.Series: Ratchet & ClankCharacter: Ratchet & ClankStage: MetropolisAnother returning character and another one of Playstation's more iconic characters. The only thing I would change is I would give Ratchet some of his weapons that were introduced after the original PSASBR. Series: Twisted MetalCharacter: Sweet ToothStage: Black Rock StadiumGiving the PS1 some love with the return of the Twisted Metal mascot. Nothing much to add about this one, as he would play similar to how he did in the original PSASBR.
