Sword In The Stone by RaNuit Sword In The Stone by RaNuit
Many people did not believe me when I told them I was only 13 when I painted this, but it is true. It is all done in india ink on bristol board. I don't know what I was doing when it came to be but I know I had begun the whole love of the legend. I think in truth that this was styled after another artwork based on the legends of the sword in the stone... but I remember that it is not as its original was and that this image of mine focused soley upon the boy king.

might I suggest that if you are going to do something the size that this is or that has large areas needing to be filled, use a brush instead of a pen or nib...makes it smoother and there are then no scrapes or lines from the tip
thank you for the comments

smiles... Thank You... I just took a peek at your space... love the hair, my fav color. And I love the ice. That reminds me of watching the ice bergs roll in through the bay with the whales along side...
