Serpantine by RaNuit Serpantine by RaNuit
Celtic Knotwork of the serpant biting himself... i always thought of it as a different version of the eternity knot, this one has a horse shoe effect rather then the figure 8

pencil crayon and inking...

Wow! That's really awesome! I don't see much celtic knotwork in color, especially not with serpants. Beautiful!

smiles, thanks!!! and I preffer to do them in color... Celtic reality is bright and bold, very seldom were true celtic knots done in merely black and white ( thought I understand why people do them that way, they are so intricate and mind boggling at times lol )

This is lovely! I really love the braided texture effect of the serpent's body.

I love prismacolors. I have both standard and watercolor prismacolor pencils and absolutely love them - though for watercolors I prefer Derwent Aquarelles

those are the watercolor pencils I have, the Derwent 36 pk... I bought them a while ago, used them once and set them aside and never touched them since lol... sad huh... I should send these ones to you, they have been sitting here in thier metal tin forever... I could take them from the tin and buble wrap them into a cylinder and such and just ship them off

thinks.... hehe

If you absolutely don't want them, ship 'em on over! But I challenge you first to take them out and give them a trial run first. Liberate them from that tin, grab some scrap paper and start tinkering!

 to each their own. If you're absolutely sure you'd like to give your pencils a good home elsewhere, I most certainly welcome them!
