Created for 's competition called " Occult " ( side note, one of the largest and most over looked aspects of the occult and all its practices is the art of dream magick, manipulation and interpretation )

everything else is pretty much painted by hand.... except the base to the cuffs on the arms, they are burned impressions of a dragonfly bracelet from a store I like...

I'm not overly fond of pink on its own myself, but when mixed as this was it's a pretty complement. :)

nods, now i have one of hers, one from amy lusebrink, and mallory pearce...
grins, its where I sat and started to figure out how to draw them... I think its lusebrink's book that the serpant and turtle ones came from... gotta confess, i can almost draw anything by looking at it as long as its flat and not 3d.... figured there was no better way to learn the ins and outs then by drawing them myself ( course i like color... hehe)

Courtney Davis has made several fabulous reference books designed specifically for artists & artisans to learn from and reproduce for their projects, which I think is amazingly generous of him. I've learned a lot from his tutorials and collections.

nods... i have looked at alot of the books and such that he has, and now he even has CD roms/books that offer stepping stones...
thinks a moment...laughs

why do i have a feeling that one day i am going to have a complete library of nothing but celtic work LOL

notes on this... that the hair only looks the way it does cause I shrunk the image from its original size and it decided to ummm make it look like a false hair... Look at the details peoples!!
