I'm working on an old writing project that is, weirdly, practically begging to be re-written in first person. I almost never write in first person, and I'm just questing for opinions on it. While I used to read a lot of first person YA stories (*cough AnimorphsStillRocks cough*), it doesn't seem to have a very good reputation. Like I've heard of people browsing in a book store and putting books down if they're told in first person.Any thoughts on this? Do you like first person, or hate it? Why? And do you have any examples of first person done really well?I'm going to try and write the story as well as I can in whatever POV feels right in ...

Recommend some books to me? Specifically sci-fi, specifically sci-fi in space . I can't seem to find many in my library, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.I also like modern fantasy.
