I've started a new website to sell art and sketches. I won't be taking commission requests from my website at this time. Please visit from time to time, I'll be updating with new art often. New art will also appear here on DA but for sale on the website.

Other artwork for sale and commission requests also available at MoreGreatArt.com

Hey. I haven't updated my journal post since 2017... wow! Time sure flies!

I have posted some art here now and then so I haven't been totally absent, but I did notice that I let a lot of notes that people had sent me go unanswered. I apologize for that. I didn't meant to be rude by not answering, just being slack and unknowing. I will probably miss some notes as well in the future but I will try and do better.

Things are good here though, the family is doing well. My daughter is in grad school now and my son is a high school senior.  So that gives me some more time to draw now that they're older and soon to be out on their own. Anyway, I will try to keep things updated around here a little better from here on. Later.

Just a short post.
Went to SD Comicon 2017, then flight was delayed by a day. Then went on a family vacation for a week. Now I'm very "out-of-sorts" but hopefully I can get back into a routine now. I've got stuff to do that I'm a little behind on. I hope you all are doing well with your respective artistic endeavors.   ~  Randy

SDCC 2017

1 min read
I had a great time at the San Diego Comicon this past week!
I traveled with Doctor Who artist, Kelly Yates and some others. Very packed show, I'm sure it had to be the largest attendance ever. People everywhere. I didn't set up so I was just there to network and mainly to see friends and say hey. If you were there, then I hope we ran into each other and I got to see you.  It's good to be back home with the family. I'm very tired, it'll take me a few days to get back to normal. I'll try and post some pictures or something and come up with more to say.

It's raining a lot here, and my son's baseball games are getting rained out a lot lately. Pretty disappointing, especially after you drive a few hours out of town for the games.

But today was my first full day in a new art studio here in town. I'm still moving some stuff in but it's mostly small art supply stuff at this point. I'm pretty excited! There is a comic book shop, an art supply store, a grocery, and plenty of good placed to eat all within a short walking distance. The other artists working there are all very diverse so I hope to pick up a lot from them. I definitely think it will help me to be more productive.

I guess that's about it. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! I really appreciate it!  ~  Randy
