I'm an artist who is too humble to explain in words, but sometimes I dream of random things...
Sort of.
But I'm striving to get better at my hobby by doing odds and ends.

Personal Quote: "It's a person."
I like the latest Codex Quest chapter. Geist really had teribble parents and Stormfront was revealed to be even more monstrous than was already known.
I like the meeting fate Codex entry. Ember has a lot of work to do in order to achieve a golden ending.
The updated Codex entry about Twilight was interesting. I like how she decided to call herself a queen but not how harsh she was to Moondancer.
Hey Randomfan11. I've read entries about Irminsul and his wife Arvan along with some parts of the Alvslog Deer Herds. I'm just curious and want to know, What's your inspiration for the Hated Eternteil pantheon and their subjects, the Alvslog Deerherds.
sorry for the late reply, was super busy
Irminsul was largely inspired by King Thranduil from Lord of the Rings, while Irminsul's wife Arvan was partially inspired by Blue Diamond from Steven Universe. One of their sons King Naur was in part inspired by the Elven god Asuryan from Warhammer. Another son, Cernunnos, was inspired by the Celtic god of the same name, while his twin sister Rhiannon was inspired by the Celtic goddess Rhiannon
I also saw the Alvslog Deer as Wood Elves, with their protectiveness over nature taken to a logical extreme
I kinda figured that that Irminsul reminded me of the pompous king Thranduil. And I can see his overprotectiveness to nature taken to that extreme. But what about behavior? was he inspired by the many experiences of people abused by their families along with conservatism in general? also, I ask you about the inspiration because there hasn't been any further development of the Alvalog deer other than being Xenophobic, condescending, and reactionary. is there any reason why?
I haven't been able to do more for the Elternetil Deer Panthon and their Alvslog Deer followers due to lack of time, inspiration, energy, and/or inspirational focus being on other projects. I've been wanting to, but just kinda focusing on other things rn
Irminsul's abusive behavior towards his family was kinda inspired by real-life familial abusers, yes. His treatment of his children was apparent in Temnobog's old entry from the earlier parts of Codex Equus, when Irminsul abused him for being born an evil god and let his other children bully Temnobog as well. This led to a whole kerfuffle where multiple children of Irminsul's left to form their own pantheons, but mostly to get away from him and Arvan. WIth his black-and-white views on moral purity and nature, him being an abuser was kinda inevitable; I just expanded on it
