Borrowed Courage: Chapter Two

Brooke was right. School the following day was exactly how she’d imagined it to be. She left earlier than she needed to, dutifully avoiding getting on the same bus as Kaleb Finch. The last thing she needed was him knowing where her family had moved; that kind of gossip would spread like wildfire if it got out to the rest of the class. Honestly, it was still a mystery to her why Kaleb himself lived on this side of town, despite going to Westmount; one of the more prestigious high schools in the district. The way he carried himself practically screamed white-collar family. Guess everyone’s got their secrets. Brooke reasoned to herself. Her family’s was well and truly out, available for everyone to see. As she snuck a glance at him over the spine of her chapter book, she wondered for a moment what would happen if his home life got brought out into the open. She knew enough about the area they’d moved to to know that his family probably didn’t come from money. The fact that he was

Ten years later… February 8th, 2020 “Almost… there…” With a final grunt of exertion, Brooke Tucker jammed the last thumbtack into the drywall, pinning her metre-long Green Day poster above the bedhead. She fell into a crouch from her precarious position balanced tiptoed on the edge of her desk to reach the ceiling, and stretched out her aching arms. Then, retreating to the doorway to admire her handiwork, she allowed herself a small smile. It had taken almost the entire day, but, with perseverance—and a little extra motivation courtesy of her phone pumping out the latest rock music—her belongings w

“Hey, kid. You’re alright, now. Easy does it.” A rumbling voice jolted Kai back into the waking world. His chest throbbed, and it took him several panicked seconds to figure out why. His memories were hazy at best, owing to the splintering pain in his ribs that threatened to pull him back into unconsciousness. He resisted it, focussing on the sounds around him as his brain struggled to piece together what had happened. Fabric shifted loudly from above, in time with periodic rushes of warm air that tickled his skin. There was a scraping sound that reminded him of a chair being pulled out from under a table, albeit impossibl

Ten minutes earlier… “So this is the place, huh?” Dean Winchester surveyed the abandoned mansion sceptically, craning his neck to stare up at the old gargoyle statues perched atop its crumbling stone pillars. “Definitely fits the profile.” He scoffed. “Those exorcists. Always so flashy.” He lowered his gaze to his chest pocket. “You think Bobby was right about his hunch?” Hazel eyes stared up at him from the cloth opening. “For a place that was supposed to be abandoned three years ago, it sure is well kept.” His brother’s soft voice called up. At four-inches-tall, Sam

Minime ~Chapter 1

I’d looked up the word ‘school’ on the internet before, but I never imagined that I’d actually be going there. The topic was pretty foreign at home, and Mum never brought it up. She’d simply shrug the idea off, and change the conversation’s path abruptly. When I turned thirteen, I almost thought I’d gotten through to her about it, but of course, that hasn’t been something we bring up at the dinner table anymore. My little brother, Max went to school though. He’s nice enough, as little brothers are, but I try not to get on his bad side, well, because let’s just say that I’m no

My Bio

Welcome to my D/A page! I'm Ella, and I'm an author-for-fun, with a passion for anything G/T and Science Fiction. I'm a huge fan of anime and manga, and spend a majority of my time either writing or sketching in in bed with my cat. My life can be pretty hectic at times so if I don't update my works to your liking, I apologise in advance. Other than that, hope you enjoy reading my stories and cringing at my lousy attempts at art...

Here's 5 Random Things About Me:

1. I've been vegetarian for six years and counting

2. I have a rescue cat called Nico ;w;

3. I can play 'Arrietty's Song' on the piano, because I am that obsessed with G/T

4. I'm a psychology student, so yes, I can read minds

5. I can't watch a movie without sketching at the same time

Give me something to draw!

Give me something to draw!

Hey guys! As you may know, I'm in self-isolation at the moment for COVID-19 and I'm bored as hell, so if anyone has any drawing prompts or anything specific they want me to draw, I'm taking requests :) Comment below! :D

Best. Surprise. Ever!

Best. Surprise. Ever!

Okay, I can't stop smiling right now, which is pretty awesome considering I'm a week into my COVID-19 self-isolation period and am bored out of my mind   Today, I ventured to my front door to receive a parcel in the mail which I wasn't expecting to come for weeks (because posting stuff to Australia is a slow and painful process ) But anyway, I don't know if I'm even allowed to post this, but it's just so exciting and awesome that I couldn't resist! A paper copy of the first two 'Trust' stories! Seriously though, for a G/T nerd like me who's been following Nina and Jessie's amazing stories for years, this is pretty damn special  I am so grat
