Once again my most active month is October.  I've fallen behind a few days since I had an SCA event I spent the day at and was knocked out of commission for the next day, but I'll catch up. This year all my drawings are on the same size paper since I made a coptic stitch sketchbook, the only difference is the color and texture of the paper.  Most of the leafs are white or light gray, but there's a few that are a very thin light paper and a very heavy toothed paper.  Both were a fun change of pace to work on.  The thin paper was "Fierce", "Mysterious", "Filthy", and "Cloud".  The thick paper was "Teeming", "Fat", "Graceful", and "Deep". Not technically a vegetable, except in the concept of "vegetable matter", it's mostly oak tannins.  
Thanks for the great tutorial on mask making! can you use faux leather? I work with some interior designers and I can get my hands on some faux leather samples. but real leather, I am not sure about. I do art on a budget, as in cheap as I can... free is better lol
