Visitors to The Tower had a treacherous path to brave that twisted even fire, did things to gravity and the mind, and was said to not always be existent altogether. With the correct preparations and plenty of potions, it could be done.

A bit of 70ies vibe for this sketch couldn't be avoided with the white tower and colourful sky. But what's wrong with a colourful sky?

with plenty of potions... That sound like the beginning of a nightmare campaign in D&D.

You need a fortune's worth of potions just to make it the start of the dungeon crawl and it's not even because of monsters.

You get it. Sometimes the lurking terror started out as adorable bunnies and then the place drove them mad and toothy - and it will to the same to you! Muhaha! So, will potion, protection drink, IQ booster to make sure, maybe a health enhancer... what's even in this gold-ish bottle? Nah, I'll drink it anyway...

I mean, I have enough potions, but if I go to the tower, I might have to use them, and what if I need them later?

Seriously, though, it's a nice painting and a neat idea. That sky really is something.

The adventurer's conundrum :D Depends on the potion, I guess. If it's only one of those pomegrenade-flavoured red healing potions from a barrel, who cares. But if it's the Overpowerful Potion of Second Life, that might be another thing. The tower road is passable as such, just not easy.

Portrait-format landscapes are not usually my favourites, I think rather horizontally for environments; the thumnbnail for this was still horizontal but it felt natural to expand it upwards this time.
