How to put a spaceship into a hotel lobby

Description

Another setup example, this time for a system that allows putting rockets into hotel reception halls, since there are barely any tutorials and the like on that, with some additional setup for roof deformation for extra-big rockets. This works completely without physics simulations, meaning it's fast and shape key friendly. Drawbacks are that it can work on one object at one time only, doesn't work well with weirder shapes (though, this rocket is the most basic, varying thickness does work) and some more extreme positioning will look weird. If you prefer physics simulation, I recommend to use a surface deform modifier with soft body physics on the control mesh.
This is a highly-specific scenario, but I'm sure you can come up with other applications of this method. Like putting bottles into tree holes. Or broomsticks into plug sockets.
