You are totally right. I´ll quit my antidepressants and start buying balloons! It is cheaper and has the same effect :dummy:

So, the result ? I could be interested...

If it didn´t work it´s simply because I haven´t bough enough balloons yet. I need them to rise me above the clouds :la:

Reminds me of the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho (Or 'There May or May Not Be a Tomorrow).

"Ooh, something floaty!"

A wise philosophy indeed.

look at the bottom right, it says "carpe diam" or "cease the day"
fotland42's avatar
Yes, and that is an okay philosophy. "Ooh, something floaty!" is far wiser in its simplicity, though.

Love the contrast between Pinkie's two egos, think you've touched on something quite deep here.

I day without Pinkie is like a day without sunshine

I love it when Pinkie's portrayed as having an inner conflict because of her 24/7 happiness, because I can imagine, that it's a state,
that is hard to maintain, even for her.
I think the way you portrayed it here is a rather interesting perspective, because I too find, that it's important to take joy in the little things in life
and I'm sure that Pinkie believes in that as well.
Style wise, this comic is great too and I like the idea you had with displaying herself convincing herself to be happy in those thought bubbles and including a one-liner
from the show is also a really good idea, though I'm not sure if the background doesn't feel
a little too dark for the happy conclusion of the comic or is it supposed to display that Pinkie's inner conflict isn't quite solved yet or that she often struggles with herself?
I'm not sure about whether this is supposed to be a sad or a happy comic,
but either way you did a fantastic job :D

This is a really good way of making the 'flanderization' of Pinkie Pie in recent episodes actually seem meaningful, so props to you for that! Also, it's a well made comic.
