Fire-lit Thicket

Magic the Gathering; Shadowmoor. ©Wizards of the Coast

Acrylic, Approx 11" x 7.5".

Original artwork; SOLD.
The offering of a fine delicacy for supper can make guests more welcome.

The Shadowmoor world is a twilight setting with a sombre mood. I tried to convey this with a limited palette, and misty landscape. This also enabled pinpoints of light and colour to focus the eye on the entrance to the Boggart's home.

This is actually so cool... very mysterious and spooky, and the mist in the background is done spectacularly well. Great work!

Argh, this is an example of where the tiny size of the window seriously harms the art. There's so much detail and richness here that I couldn't even see on the card! Lovely work, and I'm sorry not everyone gets to see it.

Indeed an awesome scene with loads of details. Really inspiring atmosphere.

Makes me think if you use any music / scores for pictures and games, or others, maybe the silence is your what you prefer - when you draw your amazing pieces?
And if so is there anything you stick to?

One benefit of working from home is listening to music all day :D

Exactly. But then again you'd be able to do that in a studio with proper headphones as well.
Have a continued good day.
